About 100 guests enjoyed watching the third annual preliminary to the Miss Missouri and Miss America pageants – the Miss Lake of the Ozarks Pageant – on Saturday at Cummings Auditorium at School of the Osage High School in Kaiser. The audience and a panel of both Lake Area and statewide judges watched five Miss Teen and 10 Miss Lake of the Ozarks contestants display talent, talk about their varied platforms, show their healthy lifestyle in fitness ensemble routines and answer questions from reigning Miss Missouri and 2009 Miss Lake of the Ozarks Tara Osseck.
