The Osage boys basketball team took a couple more hits to their record last week, falling 40-55 to Fulton on Tuesday and 45-64 to Eugene on Friday.
At Fulton, the boys took an opening stumble to fall 22-10 after one quarter and were down 32-16 at the half.
With a 46-21 lead after three, Fulton laid back a bit and allowed the Indians to outscore them 19-9 in the final round, but held onto the lead and the win.
Dylan Jeffries was the point leader for the Indians with 13. Freddy Wackenhut followed with 10, Hayden Drace had seven and Collin Samuelson finished with six points. Wyatt Whitman added three points and Taylor Margetts contributed for a free throw.
Friday night's court warming game was more of the same with the boys falling behind 33-16 by the half.
They came back in the second half stronger, but it was too little too late. The Indians paced the Eagles in the final quarters scoring 29 points to their 32. The final tally was 64-45.
Samuelson led the team with 12 points including three three-pointers. Wackenhut followed with 10 points and Drace and Jeffries each added nine. Robertson added three points and Whitman finished with two points.
The boys will be participating in the Eldon Tournament this week, with the opening game at 6 p.m. on Thursday against the Carl Junction Bulldogs. Next week, the freshmen are at home hosting Rolla on Tuesday, Jan. 29 while the JV/varsity are away at Dixon.
