The Eldon Lady Mustangs had two games last week, and took wins from both to make their record so far 5-1 for the season.
They opened the week on the road at Fulton, overcoming a sluggish start to take a 66-53 victory over the Hornets.
The Hornets hit the courts hard and quickly jumped out in front, but the Lady Mustangs found their rhythm and ended the first quarter with a 16-12 lead and never looked back.
Sara Rhine was flawless, sinking 30 points for the Mustangs. Treva Hankey and Ashley Hogan followed with 10-point each. Jordyn Schmidt adding eight and Becca Lasson tacking on four. Sarah Evers and Logan Reed added two each.
Rhine was a force in the paint, grabbing 13 rebounds for the game and Hankey chipped in for 11 rebounds of her own.
The Ladies took on Father Tolton on Friday and claimed a 57-14 home court victory over the Lady Cardinals.
The Lady Mustangs will finish their 2012 portion of the season this week with a road game on Monday at Union and a home game on Thursday, taking on the Boonville Pirates. Thursday's tip-off is at 6 p.m.
The Eldon Mustangs boys won both matches last week, claiming a 60-37 win over Fulton on Dec. 11 and a 64-41 over Tolton last Friday.
The boys will host Boonville on Friday with tipoff following the girls' game at approximately 7:15 p.m.
