Last week members of the Missouri Football Coaches Association met to vote on the All-District and All-State official honorees for the 2012 season. The Lake Area was well represented, with 24 local players making the All-District lineup and 10 spots on the All-State lists.
For School of the Osage senior linebacker Tyler Winn made the Class 3-District 3 list along with fellow senior Brian Urwiler (offenseive lineman). Two juniors also made the list, with Bo Dean earning a slot for his standout season at quarterback and Dylan Jeffries for wide receiver.
Eldon garnered ten spots on the list, with six seniors and four juniors gaining recognition. Senior Sheyne Stafford made the list twice as both running back and linebacker. Junior Raymond Kwok also got a nod at running back. Seniors Jacob Kirkweg and Beau Roseblock as well as junior Wyatt Bashore hit the list as offensive linemen. Senior Logan Shinn as linebacker took honors. Senior defensive end Kyle Pittman, junior defensive backs Dalton Lister and Wren Rodriguez rounded out the roster for the Mustangs.
In Class 5-District 4 Camdenton took 11 spots, with eight of those honors going to seniors. First team honors went to Chase Nugent and Jake Voorhees at linebacker, Murphy Ward at running back, and Cory Simpson at quarterback. Junior wide receiver Kullen Carlock also received a first team berth.
Second team honors were handed down to seniors Jarrett Glissendorf at center, Kyle Rizer at right tackle, Aric Osborne at defensive back and Justin Bernabe as tailback. Junior Matt Endsley hit the list in the defensive back position.
Osage junior Dylan Jeffries made the Class 3 All-State first team at the position of wide receiver, while third team honors went to junior quarterback Bo Dean.
Eldon nabbed five slots on the All-State list led by seniors Kyle Pittman (defensive end) and Beau Roseblock (offensive line) on second team. Two third team slots went to seniors as well, with honors going to running back Sheyne Stafford, linebacker Logan Shinn. Junior defensive back Dalton Lister was the only underclassman for Eldon to make the team.
Three Lakers made the Class 5 All-State third team, with senior running back Murphy Ward taking an offensive slot along with junior Kullen Carlock at the wide receiver position. Senior linebacker Chase Nugent also got a third team nod.
