Charges are pending for a 31-year-old Stover resident after an outstanding warrant and search was conducted. Law enforcement found a meth lab and other dr ug paraphernalia in his home, Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force reported.
According to the Task Force, the Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force and the Morgan County Sheriff's office visited Silence Hyman's residence at 5891 Gold Nugget Road in Morgan County on Thursday for an outstanding warrant issued by the Missouri Department of Corrections for a parole violation. After speaking with an occupant of the residence, a search warrant was secured, according to the task force.
On Thursday afternoon, officers executed a search warrant at Hyman's residence and allegedly seized a methamphetamine lab, packaged methamphetamine, chemicals, six hydrochloride gas generators and other drug paraphernalia from the scene, the task force reported.
Arrested at the scene was Michelle Brown, 17, Stover. The Division of Family Services took a 2-month-old child into protective custody at the scene.
Elizabeth Hyman, 25, Stover, turned herself in to the Morgan County Sheriff later that day. The Camden County Sheriff's office arrested Silence Hyman that evening at Pizza Hut.
Charges are pending against Silence Hyman, and he is being held without bond at the Morgan County Jail, the task force reported.
Elizabeth Hyman has been charged with providing precursor material with intent to manufacture methamphetamine, a class D felony; possession of a controlled substance, a class C felony; and first-degree endangering the welfare of a child, a class C felony. She is being held on a $25,000 cash only bond.
Michelle Brown has been charged with distribute/manufacture of a controlled substance, a class B felony; possession of a controlled substance, a class C felony and first-degree endangering the welfare of a child, a class C felony. She is also being held on a $25,000 cash only bond.
