The Sunrise Beach Little Theatre will be presenting the drama/comedy play, “The Hallelujah Girls” by Jessie Jones, Nickolas Hope and Jamie Wooten as a dinner theatre production on May 30, 31 and June 1 at the Sunrise Beach Community Center on Highway 5 in Sunrise Beach.

Several Lake Area ballot questions pass while others fail
Of the 12 questions on yesterday’s Lake Area election ballots two school district tax issues failed while two others passed. Nearly the same was true for several special use sales tax issues. Voters rejected proposals that would have instituted a special use sales tax in two local towns while approving similar measures in two counties.
