In two separate incidents, last week, a 30-year-old Climax Springs man and a 41-year-old Roach man were charged with manufacturing and distributing illegal substances.
On Feb. 3, officers with the Camden County Sheriff’s Office and the Lake Area Narcotics Task Force conducted an investigation in the 300 block of Deer Trail Road, Roach. Upon entering the home of David Boyce, they allegedly discovered hydrocodone and marijuana. Roach was arrested and charged with a class B felony of possession with intent to manufacture and distribute an illegal substance and a class C felony possession of a controlled substance.
Royce was taken to the Camden County Jail where he was being held on a $2,500 cash or $15,000 surety bond.
That same day officers from sheriff’s department and the Lake Area Narcotics Task Force conducted an investigation in the 200 block of Simpson Drive in Climax Springs. Upon entering the home of Brandon K. Arnett, officers allegedly discovered psilocybin mushrooms and marijuana. Arnett was arrested and charged with a class A felony of disturbing a controlled substance near a school.
He was taken to the Camden County Jail and held on a $5,000 cash or $30,000 surety bond.
