The 18th Annual Trivia and Silent Auction to benefit the Camden County Child Advocacy Council will be held April 13 at Tan-Tar-A Resort, which is located on Route KK in Osage Beach.
April is Child Abuse Prevention Month, which is a time to recognize that everyone can play a part in promoting the social and emotional well being of children and families in the Lake Area community.
This event will raise funds for the Camden County Child Advocacy Council, which raises awareness of child abuse and neglect in the county.
Participants are encouraged to play “Go Blue” Trivia. Wearing blue will not only represent awareness for the cause but also give participants a special raffle ticket for a chance to win a prize.
Tables of six will play against each other to see which team knows the most “Go Blue” Trivia. In addition to the competition, guests will also be able to bid on a variety of donated items at a silent auction, with proceeds also benefiting the Camden County Child Advocacy Council.
Cost to participant is $20 per person (pre-registered) and $25 per person at the door. No cell phones or reference materials are allowed in the room. All proceeds above the cost of the room and snacks go directly toward the council.
Doors open at 6 p.m., with dinner served at 6:30 p.m. and trivia challenge beginning at 7 p.m.
To sign up for the event, donate to the silent auction (and receive documentation for tax purposes) or additional information about this event, contact Rhonda Wilkening at 573-348-5022 or Monica Long at 573-346-0003.
