Camden County Sheriff adds second take back drug box

On Jan. 18, Camden County Sheriff Dwight Franklin installed a second Take Back Drug Box at the Bank of Urbana in Macks Creek.

The box located in the lobby of the bank is designed as a safe way for citizens to safely dispose of unused prescription and non-prescription medication.

Medications must be in a sealed container and may not be disposed of in “loose pill” form. Only medications are allowed. No other medical equipment, bandages or other forms of dressing or debris is allowed.
