The Versailles Area Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual dinner meeting Saturday, Jan. 19 at Rolling Hills Country Club in Versailles.
The event will begin with a social hour and silent auction at 6 p.m., followed by a dinner buffet at 7 p.m. and program, which includes 2012 review, 2013 report, five-minute speakers and other activities, beginning at 8 p.m. Donated table centerpieces will also be sold by live auction.
The “five-minute speakers” will again be a part of the annual dinner meeting. These speakers will give informative and enjoyable presentations about their businesses and allow guests and other member businesses a chance to get to know others in the community better. New board members will also be announced and introduced at the annual dinner meeting.
There are only 10 five-minute speaker spots available, so make sure to call today to participate. To be a five-minute speaker, call the Versailles Area Chamber by Wednesday, Jan. 16 to make this reservation and donate a table centerpiece or silent auction item to the Chamber.
To attend the annual dinner meeting, cost is $13 per person, which includes the buffet dinner. Reservations must be made by Jan. 16 in order to confirm food orders, however, payment can be paid at the door.
The Versailles Chamber board meets from 5:30-7 p.m. the third Monday of each month and also volunteer for different Chamber events throughout the year.
