Claim Care, Inc. was invited to attend a meeting on June 28, 2012 hosted by the Department of Social Services (DSS), Children’s Division composed of Local Tax Effort (LTE) program staff and participants to discuss the future of the LTE program. Feeling re-energized and positive about the programs future, Claim Care, Inc. decided to expand its resources dedicated to the program by welcoming a new team member. Lauren Bondy joins Claim Care, Inc. as administrator of the Local Tax Effort Billback and Public Placement Fund programs for school districts in the state of Missouri.
Bondy is a recent graduate from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a degree in Agricultural Education-Leadership and minor in Agricultural Economics.
Past career opportunities have allowed Bondy to build on her desire and passion for serving the children and youth of Missouri. Bondy comes to us most recently from the Ronald McDonald House Charities ® of Mid-Missouri. Employed as the Organization and Operations Assistant, Bondy helped oversee the day-to-day operations of the House, which serves as a home for families of sick/
injured children. Bondy’s career experience serving children continued while employed as the Missouri Outreach Coordinator for Farm Safety 4 Just Kids advocating for safer rural communities throughout the state. As a Marketing and Communications intern with Mizzou Central, Bondy worked to educate young adults on opportunities available at the University of Missouri.During her time spent working in Congressman Blaine Luetkemeyer’s office as an intern, Bondy was able to learn about state and national issues affecting Missourians.
Watching Claim Care, Inc. grow from its inception on Sept. 23, 1992, by her mother and founder Stacy L. Dye, to what the organization has become today has fueled Bondy’s passion for the business and desire to continue with Claim Care, Inc. as an employee. “I am excited to work with such a great organization founded on integrity, honesty and character helping serve Missouri school districts,” stated Bondy.
Claim Care, Inc., helps school districts apply for and receive government funding from the Missouri HealthNet program. Since 1998, 150 Missouri public schools and counting have used Claim Care as their district's Third Party Program Administrator for Direct Therapy Claiming Program, Local Tax Effort Billback, Public Placement Fund and High Need Fund.
