Weight loss/gain challenge to benefit West side preschool

If your New Year’s resolution is to lose or gain weight and also support a good cause, then here’s your chance. Ken and Linda Buchmann, personal wellness coaches and Independent Distributors for Herbalife, have partnered with Loving Hands Preschool to hold a Weight Loss/Gain challenge.

The Buchmann’s meet with people that are interested in taking control of their own health and/or weight loss.

“Herbalife does not cure health issues, but their products can help deal with them by providing natural nutrition that many people lack in their daily intake. All Herbalife products have a 30 day money back guarantee,” Linda Buchmann said in a press release.

The six-week challenge will run from 6:30-7:30 p.m. on Tuesdays until Feb. 12. This open to anyone 14 years-old or older with parental approval that is interested in either losing or gaining any amount of weight.

During the challenge, participants will be weighed and measured each week. Samples of products will be available and trainers will discuss nutrition, meal plans, offer open discussion and support. There is no purchase of products necessary.

Registration is $35 and 50 percent of the registration fees will support Loving Hands Preschool and the other 50 percent will go to the challenge winner.

According to a press release, Loving Hands Preschool was started in 1987 by the Ozark Chapel United Methodist Church. Due to the growth of the preschool they have broke-off on their own. All current Board Members are either Members of Ozark Chapel or St Patrick’s Catholic Church.

Loving Hands Preschool is committed to provide a safe and loving atmosphere where young children can grow in a rich and stimulating Christian environment. Loving Hands Preschool is a non-profit facility and only licensed daycare facility on the West side of the Lake.
