The Doghouse Daddies will lead the January Lake of the Ozarks Blues Society Tuesday, Jan. 8 at Bootleggers Saloon, located at Stone Crest Mall, in Osage Beach.
At 6:30 p.m., the Juke Brothers - a blues-inspired duo of talented musicians Doug Hasch and Jim Lehr - will open the acoustic jam session, followed by the host band, the Doghouse Daddies performing a set of their own at 7 p.m. The Juke Brothers will perform during intermissions between jam sets and an open mike jam session will kick off at 8 p.m.
Everyone with musical abilities or talent is encouraged to bring his or her instrument and sit in, regardless of whether he or she is a beginner or seasoned professional. Also, the community is invited to sit and listen to real, local musical talent at Lake of the Ozarks. The Society will also introduce its new board and have a membership drive, encouraging anyone to come sign up and inquire about this longtime, fun group.
