The Camdenton Lakers ended their regular season Feb. 19 with a 72-59 victory over Lebanon to take a 10-14 record into post season.
The Lakers are seeded fourth in the Class 5 District 9 tournament and faced number five Smith-Cotton on Monday at Hickman High School in Columbia. A win will pit them against the No. 1 seed Hickman Kewpies at 6 p.m. on Thursday. The championship match is scheduled at 7 p.m. on Saturday.
The Lady Lakers enter their tournament with a 17-7 record and a No. 3 seed for the tourney. They faced No. 2 seed Hickman last night. The winner will take on the winner of the Rock Bridge game last night for the district title at 7 p.m. on Friday at 7 p.m.
