Paul Lekar, a financial consultant for the Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, presents a $5,000 check to Eleanor Hickey, board president for Hope House of Miller County.
Christ the King Lutheran Church received an Economic Outreach Bridge grant to assist Hope House with their ministry.
Thrivent Financial is challenging the community to raise additional funds that they will match 50 cents for each $1 raised. Thrivent Financial has committed an additional match of $5,000.
