Ladies, mark your calendars for Friday, April 12 and plan on participating in the Lake Area Chamber of Commerce Cocktails & Caddies Golf Tournament. This golf tournament is the first of its kind to the Lake Area and makes for a great ladies-day out on the course; featuring a luncheon where teams made up of three women bid on their fourth player/caddie, a Lake Area Golf Pro or “A” Player, during a live auction. Each caddie will have special prizes to bid on along with his golfing assistance on the course throughout the tournament.

Registration will begin at 10:30 a.m. where you will first receive a goody bag. The luncheon will start at 11am and will feature a Bloody Mary Bar with the live caddie auction beginning soon after. Ladies be sure to bring your checkbooks, these men have great prizes to be bid on besides their ability to play out on the course. Minimum bid on the caddies is $50. Tee-off will begin at 1 p.m. with a shotgun start. Throughout the course you will find multiple proxies, hole sponsors and hole hosts sponsoring give-a-ways. This is going to be a fun filled day golfing with your friends and caddie, while receiving great prizes.

Ladies start putting your teams together, team registration closes April 1. If you cannot find a team of three, go ahead and send in your application and we will place you with a team the day of the tournament. You can fill out the registration form in the paper or can find it online under our events tab at www.lakeareachamber.com.
