The Students of the Month for September at School of the Osage Middle School were Madalynn Gartner, Matthew Price, Payton Bartlett, Mackenzie Pike, Trenton Hines and Alexis Ross.
Madalynn Gartner, sixth grade, is the daughter of Jason and Jamie Nei. She is involved in Fellowship Christian Athletes. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her baby twin brother and sister and little brother. Her favorite subject is social studies.
Matthew Price, sixth grade, is the son of Rob and Pam Price. In his free time he enjoys reading. His favorite subject is social studies.
Payton Bartlett, seventh grade, is the son of Todd and Rita Bartlett. He participates in basketball, cross country and baseball. He also attends church at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. In his free time he enjoys playing sports. His favorite subject is math.
Mackenzie Pike, seventh grade, is the daughter of Chuck and Amy Pike. She participates in basketball and is involved in rodeo. She also attends church at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. In her free time she enjoys riding her horse and making crafts. Her favorite subjects are math and science.
Trenton Hines, eighth grade, is the son of Mark and Belinda Nanninga. He participates in football. In his free time he enjoys going outside and playing basketball. His favorite subject is math.
Alexis Ross, eighth grade, is the daughter of Steve and Christy Ross. She participates in volleyball. In her free time she enjoys playing outside and being with her family. Her favorite subject is social studies.
To receive the Student of the Month award, students must be nominated by their teachers. In addition to receiving the award, Outback Steakhouse gave each student a $25 gift card.
