Editor’s Note: This is the second in a two-part consecutive series.
Here's your chance to show how well you know the Lake of the Ozarks.
The Lake Today has created a trivia game out of well-known icons in the area.
At 10 various locations, encompassing Miller, Morgan and Camden counties, a picture was shot close-up of one object or “landmark” of that area. A picture of the full image was taken as well. These cultural icons may be found on the side of a highway, in a recreational complex, on a school campus or on the water, etc.
First, take a look at the close-up shot and read the clue next to the picture. From the clues in the picture and text, make a guess at where the photo was taken. Then, compare your answers with the key located below.
Are you ready for a trip around the Lake?
Clue 1:
Over the past year, State Fair Community College (SFCC) students have spent the better part of their school days piecing back together this historic landmark at Lake of the Ozarks State Park.
Clue 2:

(THIS PHOTO IS NOT FOR SALE!) This lovely display of flora is just one of numerous pieces of landscapes the Eldon Garden Club keeps beautiful every year. However, can you tell which one this is?
Clue 3:
An important landmark in Morgan County, this bench is simply a piece of a much larger marker signifying those who have served and fallen in combat defending the U.S.
Clue 4:
Once a door that swung open and shut during busy open hours in the late 1800’s and early to mid-1900’s, this landmark is a recognizable part of Ha Ha Tonka State Park in Camdenton.
Clue 5:
This is an example of one of the 50-plus twins seen at the grounds of a state organization’s site and a nationally known area for those who like to hear the word, “Pull.”
Clue 6:
A sign that can be seen from a main Lake Area state highway and a site for more than six theatrical productions a year, including a children’s play scheduled for the first weekend of December.
