Osage takes wrestling victory over St. James at home match Nov. 19

Osage Wrestlers started their season with a 21-13 win over St. James at home on Nov. 19, one of only four home matches for the 2012-13 season.

Greg Crosby for Osage took his match in the 152-weight class by pinning St. James’ Aaron MacFarlane. Also winning by pin were Tyler Winn (220 pounds), Alex Weatherspoon (285 pounds) and Kyle Carroll (106 pounds).

Chris Johnson (126 pounds) and Skyler Bax (132 pounds) also took their matches with a pin, while Breauna Mundy (113 pounds) won by forfeit. Dalton Mundy picked up the other Osage points, with a 19-5 major decision over Seth Thompson in the 138-weight class.

The grapplers were at Camdenton last night to face the Camdenton and Branson junior varsity and varsity squads and will be at the Bolivar Tournament this next Saturday, Dec. 1. Their next home match will be on Tuesday, Jan. 8.
