A car struck the School of the Osage Elementary School this morning.
According to a press release issued by School of the Osage R-II School District, at about 8 a.m. Wednesday morning (Jan. 25), a car struck the southwest corner of the building, which is located off Highway 42 in Osage Beach.
Although, students and the teacher were in the fifth grade classroom at the time, there were no injuries to students or staff, the release stated.
The driver of the vehicle was taken for medical evaluation as a precautionary measure.
School of the Osage staff and faculty thank the Osage Beach Fire and Police departments and the Miller County Ambulance District for their quick response.
