Osage Community Elks Lodge president John Dale presented the "Elk of the Year" award to Ron Rupe.
Osage Community Elks Lodge 2705 in Laurie recently recognized one of their own as “Elk of The Year.”
Elk president John Dale presented the award to Ron Rupe. Rupe was given the award, in part, for all the many hours of time and dedication that he devotes to promoting the Elks’ Lodge and it’s benevolence in the local community.
In addition, Dale, recently accepts a check for $10,000 from Lady Elks first vice president, Nancy Davison at their Valentine Dance held on Feb. 17.
This generous, annual monetary gift is presented to the Elks by the Lady Elks in appreciation of their support. The gift will be used to continue providing benevolence in our community.
