Osage High School hosts 26th Annual Senior Citizen’s Banquet

The 26th Annual School of the Osage Senior Citizen’s Banquet was held on Nov. 15 in the high school commons.

Nearly 500 area senior citizens were in attendance. More than 100 students from the high school worked to serve the seniors an excellent dinner prepared by the Osage cooks. Area businesses donated 45 door prizes that were awarded to seniors in attendance. Before dinner guests were entertained by the high school Jazz Band, and vocal groups, Girls’ Glee and Les Chanteurs.

The upper elementary Choralettes also performed. After dinner guests were invited to attend this year’s fall musical “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.” Tricia Foster, National Honor Society sponsor said, “It was a fabulous evening of entertainment.”

The district would like to thank the following businesses who provided door prizes for this year’s event.
