The Osage Middle School chapter of the National Junior Honor Society raised $850 for Dogwood Animal Shelter and $1,200 for Central Missouri Honor Flight during their fourth annual Rock-a-Thon held Oct. 5-6.
The team that raised the most money for the event recently presented a check to the Dogwood Animal Shelter. Those teammates are: Dalton Glenny, Logan VanDyke and Patty Crabtree.
The Central Missouri Honor Flight received their donation during the middle school’s Veterans Day assembly. Patrons can continue to donate to Central Missouri Honor Flight at the middle school concession stands through Christmas.
